The husband-and-wife team of photographers Marc and Phoebe Aviles are doing well in Santa Clara, California. As a matter of fact, both made it to the cover story of the May 29, 2009 issue of The Asian Journal SF Magazine where we learn that they were also featured as Wedding and Portrait Photographers International’s (WPPI) photographers of the month in its April 2008 newsletter.
Marc received special honors at the 2008 WPPI 8×10 inch First-Half Print Competition, and just recently, he landed first place in the Glamour category of the 2009 WPPI 16×20 Print Competition.
Phoebe, on the other hand, received a “Best Story Telling” Award from the National Geographic Channel. She works with Marc running their very successful This is iT Photography, specializing in weddings, portraits, fashion and product shots. Phoebe is a graduate of the FPPF.
