The FPPF Friday concluded the second Cebu Photography Workshop held at the Sacred Heart Center in Cebu City from October 21 to 23, 2009. The workshop taught participants the proper handling and use of the digital SLR camera, composition, elements of design, use of available light and studio lights and portraiture. There were three female models who took part in the shoots and a total of 42 workshop participants mostly from the urban center of Cebu and outlying provinces, with a few coming from as far as Surigao and Gen. Santos cities in Mindanao.

Following the successful first and second Cebu workshops, a third is being contemplated for January 6-9, 2010. Simultaneous workshops for basic and advanced photography are being planned. The advanced class is for those who have already taken the 1st and 2nd Cebu workshops.

    I just bought my second SLR cam and now it is a digital-SLR. My first SLR is Nikon FM10 and i only used it for a month of self research and experimentation. I am very much interested to participate in your photo workshops…please do email me if there is another one on schedule. Thanks so much and more power!
